About

I have been passionate about Arts & Design my entire life. It all started when I was still a toddler & when my mother gave me a pen & a paper to play with. Apparently, that's her way of keeping me distracted. I have developed my drawings skills on my own & felt like I was destined to do arts my entire life.
Blessed with a supportive family, they never prevent me from achieving my dream. My path towards doing arts & design became much clearer when I took the Design Subject (Reka Cipta) for SPM when I was in high school. I continued my journey in 2006 & went to study Architecture Diploma. With God's willing, I managed to graduate with BSc. & Degree Certifications. I continue further into the Architecture field & went to practice at an Architecture firm in 2013.
I managed to gain a lot of experience during my time practicing. However, I find that the daily tasks that I was doing was too routine for me & I felt like my passion for creativity is slowly fading away. I took a sabbatical leave doing freelance in graphics & tried exploring other stuffs to do that were related to Arts & Design. I was really glad I took that break as I have sparked my creative mind & fire it back to life. I went for a slightly different path & managed to secure myself a job as a designer for a sub-contractor company that does Environmental Graphics (Design & Build Company).
Despite never heard of that sort of career or job title before, I gave it a shot to see where it could lead me. I didn't expect to stay working with the company for very long but after slowly working my way up through the ranks, I think working there had really exposed me a lot into the construction field. I got to work on many exciting projects where the clients are from International & world known organizations. I got to worked together with professional consultants from various field of work that have taught me valuable knowledge that money can't buy. I had been given the creative freedom to work on projects I've been assigned to. The highlight of my career there for me would probably be when I was given the chance by my company to work on the concept, proposal & technical design for Malaysia's first ever Water Park that have it's own original theme & concept.
I was given the trust by TAR&H's (A company by Khazanah Nasional) to come up with the complete design package for enhancing the architecture design of the theme park. It was truly an overwhelming experience for me as I got to work with talented people from various industry background. I have managed to prove myself to my company & they have given me recognition by promoting me to a managerial level. I never looked back since then & I kept working hard as well as looking for new exciting challenges. There were a few more big projects I'm involved with that are worth mentioning such as the Design & Build package for Toppen Johor Bahru (Mall operated by IKEA) as well as the Theme rooms design for Accenture Malaysia new HQ Office at Xchange 106 tower (Tun Razak Exchange). Due to my excellent track record, the top management at the company had given me more challenging projects for me to handle despite they were slightly unrelated to my actual design scope. I always tried my best to come up with the best possible end product & always proud with all the works I've produced.
Now I am looking for a new challenge & ready to step up even higher in my career. I am hoping that my experience in the past 8 years in the construction industry could be applied to great use at any organization that are willing to recruit me.
